I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

Artist's Description
Godafoss, a spectacular waterfall in northern Iceland, means ‘waterfall of the gods’. The gods must have been angry the first time we visited: the wind was blowing about 25-30 m/sec, which doesn’t sound too bad until you convert it to mph (56-67 mph) at which point it sounds downright scary! According to legend the Lawspeaker Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði made Christianity the official religion of Iceland in the year 1000. After his conversion Þorgeir threw his statues of the Norse gods into the waterfall. Thu...
About Joan Carroll
Protected with PIXSY About Joan Carroll: I am a Fort Worth Texas-based outdoor photographer who feels at home while on the road...in Texas, in the US, around the world. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
