A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
A couple mornings ago, I caught this scene behind our house just as the sun was coming up & casting a bright orange glow over everything. I ran inside to grab my camera to capture the warm, beautiful light before it got away.
About Marsha Elliott
I’ve enjoyed art in one form or another since I was old enough to pick up a crayon and scribble on a wall. As early as third grade, I began blending colors and using shade to create form. Balancing marriage, motherhood and a full time career, there was only time enough to dabble in the fine arts. My 43 years as a sign artist afforded me a daily outlet for creativity. Now that I’m retired, I want to direct my creativity towards watercolor. It’s been a real challenge for me to break away from the very technical art form of sign making but the fluidity of the watercolor medium is helping me to do that. My subject matter is varied and my work is a unique combination of realist, impressionist and postimpressionist styles and...

Great shadows and shading in this piece Marsha! I love the stonework as well!
Marsha Elliott replied:
Thanks so much, Ken. The light that morning was just incredible and shortly after, it started getting very, very hot out....in the 90's! By the way, I was a stone mason in my former life...ha! Thanks again.

Marsha Elliott replied:
Thanks, Val....much appreciated!

Marsha, another masterpiece! I love the way you always capture light and shadow. The colours here are so contemplative and the flowers catch the eye. Beautiful. p.s. I agree with the comment about the price for the original.
Marsha Elliott replied:
You're much too kind, Peggy! Thank you very much!
