Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Hello Tom! I'm looking closely at the faces here.. &...I want to know more! Our family spent our summers, camping on one of those southern Cal cliffs..for $2 per night.. In the early 60's.. I'd love to know exactly where this was.. But I'm guessing.. South of Carona del Mar..maybe more south of Laguna beach.. It might even be early Dana Point! Judging by the roads going in on the hillsides..& we're definenately in the mid 50’s to early 60's.. Too "tidy" though for 'real surfers' tho.. The guy's hair?..too short & neat.. And their 'suits' are not old or baggy enough to qualify! In fact, guys called their suits "baggies"! But still I love this shot..
