Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Super happy how print came out, but looks a little less vibrant even after just a cool water quick wash. Still nice looking, but would have preferred the vibrancy to have remained.

Gyotaku is a Japanese fish printing art created by warlords in the early 1800's. The warlords used rice paper and natural berry inks to preserve the exact sizes of their catch. At first the rubbing was done with just one color strictly to record size and species, but at a later date it evolved as an art form with many colored inks and papers.
At the end of the fishing day the fish is laid out on the beach and brushed with a non-toxic acrylic paint. I then rub it onto a high quality Unryu Mulberry paper. After the rubbing, the fish is washed off, filleted and consumed. The art is then dried and rolled for storage or sale. Some details such as eyes and si...
