The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.
Artist's Description
This is a painting of the Wyoming meadowlands at the foot of the Rockies. It was painted from reference photos on a trip through Colorado and Wyoming. The golden meadow caught my eye as we traveled along and just "had to be painted".
About Jack Hampton
Jack is a visual artist using his art as one of the most perfect forms of communication available. He began his career as an engineer using drawings and sketches to communicate with other engineers and manufacturing departments. After a number of years he entered the world of computer engineering using his drawing abilities as a way of communicating different uses of processing systems. Although not fine art, it nevertheless was artistic communication. After retirement, his wife Nancy, a fine artist also, talked him into participating in a drawing class and he was "hooked".
