This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Just been looking at your pages and pages of work Anne. How do you ever find the time! I admire your passion for your art and the pride you have in your fathers work. What a talented family, I am sure he would be very proud. So much colour, intensity and design. but I also am drawn to the simple yet strong design of this piece. Wonderful colour and I love the overlay effect. Also thank you for kind words on my work, Howard

I like this horse very much! Horses are a fun subject matter aren't they? -- I like them because you get to convey so much energy when painting a horse. This is a super duper energetic one!
Suzete Martins

Hi Anne-Elizabeth. Really impressed with 'Horse Hoping over Jalopenos', the texture comes through well (even on the computer screen). I like the simple sculpural design of the piece and your use of strong yet minimal coloring.
Heather Hennick
I noticed the flying horse, so free and a great light feeling. Well done applications.
Jimmie Trotter
Hot subject,really cool art work.

Bruce: you cared me, dude, but then I saw where you were going. I agree! Nice piece. It's all very prehistoric, with hieroglyphic type symbols that are references to Aztec art I suppose...would be nice if you described the materials. Mixed media doesn't tell me much. Collage implies cutting and pasting but you do more than that!
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway
Thank you Cindy. Sometimes the simple things are best. For me this was simple to complete in a jiffy. And a barrel of fun Once I got the idea, I jumped on it Seems like I get my most creative ideas at night. Is that true of you all?. Also thanks Bruce C.and Arlene B.

This one is my favorite so far...

Wonderful work. I love the way the colour of the background has been included in the horse, Anne.

Dear Anne-Elizabeth: what a disgusting post! Your description does not even MENTION that the background is soooo cool! And the colors are all quietly sooo right for each other here the ways you have used them. You cut-out the horse? Was it already colored thus? And you also are talented with scissors! Most of all, with so many of your pieces you come up with the most immaginative titles, and lo and behold, that is what is there! If I owned a gallery (and wishes were fishes, etc -- uh Oh, now you'll be doing a piece of that title depicting the saying! Except that I've never known you to take a title or much anything else suggested by anybody: you just already have too many ideas of your own!) So, well, if I owned a gallery I want that painting there just to have the title mentioned in announcements and advertisements! What a draw! So, keep on making your wild and wildest ideas come true, Ms Whiteway! Peace, etc., Bruce
