Artist's Description
The effort was to capture the color without capturing the light source. Or at least not capturing the lights as lights.
This is a small house bedecked for "The Holidays" after a fresh snow. Then manhandled in my various and sundry photo editing suites.
There are several of these with various harms done to them ;-)
In this instance I dragged the camera up which is why the roof lines. The exposure had to be about 1/12 of a second. I calculate this by the number of lines of white lights, 5. which is about 1/8 of 60
It has been pointed out to me that the tree in the front comes off as looking like the Gorgon from Stranger Things. OK.
