The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

"It's Elemental" is a landscape image, hand painted digitally from my imagination, of a range of mountains ringed by mists and whose feet are washed by heavy tides and crashing waves, all capped by a distant lightning storm that will soon overwhelm the scene.
In classical terms, the four basic elements are earth, water, air and fire. I tried to portray all four: the earth is represented by the tall mountains, the water by the turbulent ocean and waves, the air by the roiling storm clouds and fire (you'll have to use your imagination) by the golden glow of sheet-lightning within the clouds.
Created entirely from my imagination ... no photography base, no photo reference.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
