The Jaguar E-Type or the Jaguar XK-E (North American market) was manufactured by the British company Jaguar cars between 1961 and 1975 and was capable of 150 MPH. This Illustration is of the series 1, manufactured between 1961 and 1968.

The Series 1 was available as a two seater Fixed Head Coupé and as a two seater convertible "roadster". A "2+2" or four-seater version of the coupé, with a lengthened wheelbase, was released several years later.

On its release in 1961, Enzo Ferrari called it "the most beautiful car ever made"
