A Plains Indian rides a galloping pinto coated horse on a misty morning through a grassy field lined with fir trees. Coming to a stream that cuts through the grass, the mustang never slows its run but instead jumps over the rocky creek with a with a mighty leap. Meanwhile, the rider holds his rifle high and smiles with excitement, a Native American enjoying a moment of freedom in the American wild west.
This is the latest in my series of Western art featuring American Indians and mustangs.
About how I create my artwork:
Rather than traditional forms of art such as painting or photography, I use a computer to create my images., It's called 3D Rendering and works like so: I make a scene by sculpting and arranging digital models in a virtual 3D space., After stipulating lighting and atmospheric effects, I have the computer create a simulated environment from which I take a virtual snap shot of the scene. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience.
