Hello David, just looking in and to my joy found a most wonderful painting of yours that I have not visited! " Lake District Memories" is flooded with the most spectacular squally light and movement and adventure but with minimal detail in this instance as a real memory would actually appear, albeit still appearing vividly in the mind. The way that majestic sail disappears from view works wonderfully . It is such a powerful accent and I'm also entranced by those figures which you give so much expression to in just a few magic strokes of your brush. Sheer excellence my friend! L/F
