A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Lake Malawi fishing and war tree. Illustration of fishing on Lake Malawi (Lake Nyassa) and trophy human heads on a war tree. This area in what is now Malawi was visited by British missionary and explorer David Livingstone (1813-1873) in 1859. Livingstone was ordained in 1840. He explored southern Africa, travelled along the Zambesi River, and discovered and named the Victoria Falls. He mapped parts of Africa's interior, wrote accounts of the native peoples, and campaigned against slavery. Lauded as a hero in Victorian Britain, he died in Africa. Artwork from 'The Life and Explorations of Dr Livingstone', first published in around 1870.
