The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

I'd been walking all day in Avila Spain and decided to take the bus out to Cuatro Postes, a little shrine outside of town to watch the lights come on in town as the sun went down. The only problem was they don't make the bus schedule to coincide very well with the sunset so my choices were to go out much earlier than planned, much later than planned, or walk. I opted for earlier but that left me with a lot of time to kill before the sun went down. So...zoom in...zoom out...panorama...no panorama...the north walls....the west walls...everything imaginable to pass the time. Luckily there was no rain and the setting sun made the medieval walls glow golden. This is a telephoto image of the north walls leading to the Puerta del Carmen (upper left) on the north side of the city. The walls around the historic core of Avila Spain were completed between the 11 and 14th centuries. There are nine gates and each gate has its own function and design.
