I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

The Ford Thunderbird is an American automotive icon first introduced in 1955. When the 1955 Thunderbird debuted in 1954 it was a major event. Working under a tight deadline Ford’s designers had crafted a two-seat automobile that was inspired by the foreign sports cars that Americans loved so much. It was built like a small luxury car and had a more comfortable ride and had parts that were interchangeable with other Ford models. Thunderbirds were meant to be as comfortable as they were fast and stylish. Unlike Chevrolet’s two-seat Corvette, the Thunderbird started life with a high quality steel body and V-8 power, although the Corvette finally got the small block in 1955.
Although the Thunderbird consistently outsold the Corvette, largely due to its melding performance and luxury, Ford decided to replace the “Little Birds” with a higher volume four-seat version. The “Square Birds” were new for 1958 and Ford sold 37,893 units in their first year, up from 21,380 in 19...
