My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.
Lockhart, TX, was my second stop on my road trip to photograph the picturesque courthouses of Southern Texas. I started in Gonzales, TX, and then went North on US 183, 32 miles to be exact. This beautiful courthouse was designed by architect Henry Guidon and completed in 1894. The structure is made of white limestone with red sandstone trim. This is a variation of the first image, which I shot from the North. In this case, I positioned myself on Main Street and shot from the West, to showcase the intricate details of the structure, like the clock and the vane. I particularly love how the golden sunlight reflects on the white sandstone. Thanks for looking!
