Description
A misty sunset along Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, on the Pacific Coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is known for its rugged coastlines and temperate rainforests. The Long Beach Unit, located along Highway 4 between Tofino to Ucluelet, features several beaches, short trails, and a campground. Wickaninnish Bay is bordered by the eponymous Long Beach, as well as Combers Beach, and Wickaninnish Beach, while Florencia Bay to the south includes a more sheltered beach. These beaches provide some of the best access to the west coast of Vancouver Island.
This is my favorite photo taken during this trip to Vancouver Island. The beach was almost completely empty on this evening, and the mist from the afternoon heat was still around as the sun began to set. The gold tones in the sky and mist were reflected by the water on the sand as the tide came in.
The orange and gold tones in this photo make it ideal for beach houses and coastal themes; or for any fan of oceans and seascapes. It is available as a canvas print, framed print, acrylic print, wood print, metal print, art print, or greeting card. Licensing options are also available: see below.

Panoramic gold, Matt. I love the single branch in the foreground. This is a pod choice for me in the Best of Minimalism group.
