I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
The Long Road Home
With formation discipline slightly relaxed as the Group leaves the threat of Luftwaffe attacks behind a huge tract of sky is painted by the �Mighty 8th�. The various squadrons of the B17 Group show several �holes� in the formation make-up as less fortunate aircraft have failed to complete the trip. Also relaxed are the escorting P51s at the end of a long mission for single-seat fighters - the whole panorama illustrates the huge impact that the US 8th Air Force made on the European WW2 campaign.
Have been interested in photography since just after WW2, when film became freely available again, using Kodak Autographic equipment. Graduated, in the 50's, to 35mm and was involved in photographic work during my 17 yrs as RAF aircrew - navigator. Since retirement and migrating to Canon digital equipment have been involved with two of my sons and one grandson in a considerable amount of photographic activity, particularly composite images. Now producing digital art prints with the major emphasis on classic warbird aviation. With son, Duncan, now becoming a well-known and published wild life photographer we have started, in 2017, a new gallery reflecting Scottish sea birds - and 'feathered' flight
