I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
This semi-abstract drawing was created by hand using a combination of professional water based marker and, pen and ink, on 11" x 14" watercolor paper. It has different colors and shapes that overlap and connect to each other and a textured background of fine back lines that helped to unify everything plus makes it more interesting to look at.
One of the challenges with my artwork is coming up with a title. When I start a drawing or painting I just start with no intention of it being anything but shapes and colors that work together, not anything from the real world. It's not until I'm thinking about a title do I start seeing, things. Whatever I see I know someone else will see something else but for this one I saw a quirky looking creature standing in the foreground, coming out of darkness. That made me think of all the monsters that lucked under the bed at night when I was young but this one is a lot more friendlier than the ones that kept me up at night! Need I say more, why my p...
