Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I use photographs, video and some times live models to build a visual reference. The reference is always a combination of at least three sources.
Once I have created reference material, I use it as a guide to draw the figures and scenes. Typically I change the lighting, clothing, hair and even facial features to help express the mood of the image.
Once I have a tight sketch drawn in graphite, I scan it. Then clean up the scan and size it. I take advantage of digital painting techniques such as airbrush to create smooth areas of light and shadow as well as other digital brushes that I have built. The goal is to create a tight under painting. Some of the other brushes I use are heavily textured, while others are smooth and soft. I also blend certain areas together using the same method I use on oil and chalk pastel. Once I have the image to an almost finished state, I print it on to a substrate such as paper...
