I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

A nice, earth tone painting of an Asian elephant in the wild. A lot of Asian elephants who grow tusks, do not reach the size and length of the tusks of the African elephant. We find these gentle and beautiful large land mammals of Southeast Asia from India to Borneo. Three subspecies are recognized � Elephas maximus maximus from Sri Lanka, the Indian elephant or E. m. indicus from mainland Asia, and E. m. sumatranus from the island of Sumatra.E. maximus has been listed as endangered by IUCN since 1986. Threatened by habitat loss, degradation and fragmentation have recently given rise to a few groups who work for their sanctuary, humane and honorable treatment as well as to break the out dated and extremely abusive form of phajaan "crush" training. This form of crushing an elephants spirit is so extreme and permanent, that many die during this abuse and some will be handicapped or disabled.
