Medical nanorobot. Computer artwork of a nanorobot in a human body targeting a cell. One of the aims of nanotechnology is to develop microscopically small probes that could be used to target cancer cells, or deliver specific treatments to certain types of cell. Here, the nanorobot is using clamps to attach itself to the cell, and using a syringe to inject drugs or genetic material.
