About Acrylic Prints
Mounting Option #1
Mounting Option #2
Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print. Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.
The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!
All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.
Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall. When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print. Click here for mounting details.
Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. There are no metal mounting posts at the corners. Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50" Click here for mounting details.

About Douglas Switzer
I’ve been a total gearhead since I was a kid and first got introduced to cars and racing. I elected to make art and illustration my career and set out from college as an independent freelancer doing design and illustration work for a wide variety of clients. I’ve been at it for over 40 years now. Back in the mid-1970’s, I had the idea of doing a series of art-prints that were very technical-looking and would appeal to both engineering-types and automotive enthusiasts. These early designs were laminated onto plaques and marketed quite successfully. Now, some 40-odd years later, I’m reviving the concept and once again, offering a product that will appeal to both art lovers and technical-types. Have a look through my current offerings...

Hi everyone! I was playing around with framing options for these things and I tried something which I thought looked quite good. I took a 20" x 13.38" size Blueplanprint from the "Framed Print" option, then selected a 1.5" "silver florentine" matte (which appears to be the speckled blue-grey colour, 9th row down, 2nd row in) and set this in an HP3 frame (high point mahogany from the dark brown selections—Note that your overall size at 25.25" x 18.63" is now quite a bit larger than the original base print - bear this in mind when sizing art for hanging in the area you're considering!) I thought the reddish/brown of the frame's mahogany coloring contrasted quiet dramatically with the blue prints and really sets them off. Of course this may not suit everyone's taste or decor settings, but I thought it's an elegant way to "accent with contrast", the technical, monotone nature of these prints. Does anyone have any other thoughts, preferences or suggestions? Best regards, Doug Switzer
