The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Artist's Description
I chose to be an artist, a painter, because in this I was grappling with something that transcended the falsehood. How so? When I stood before a tree, for example, and sought to “describe” its form and color and where it “sits in space” with respect to everything surrounding it, I am stripping myself of all human theory about the tree, any of their “knowledge” of it. I am a being capable of responding to the world in a straight, simple, intuitive way, with my “natural intelligence”. As a painter I focus on the subject in front of me, what I see, and this restricted realm at least is surely real. If I felt that my work was small, almost completely insignificant, in light of such a huge world that needed nearly endless solution and correction, it nonetheless was in pursuit of something true, and in the end of my “workday” I have something beautiful that makes people happy.
