I collect travel stamps for a hobby, but when I visited the Noah Webster House in West Hartford Connecticut there was no travel stamp available for my collection booklet so I came across this sticker on your fine website and it is now in my travel stamp booklet under my Noah Webster House visit. It was put to good and joyful use Thank You

Minoan Bull Head, Knossos, Crete. c. 1500 BC
Bull’s head rhyton from the Knossos Palace in Crete. The carving was made from a single block of black steatite. The eyes are inlaid with rock crystal, with rim and iris of red jasper. The snout is outlined with an inlay of white seashell. The rhyton was a ritual vessel for pouring liquids (libation). It dates to the Neopalatial period, c. 1600-1450 BC. This magnificent sculpture can be found a the Heraklion Archaeological Museum in Crete.

Hi there, Born in '72 and shooting pictures since '83, I particularly enjoy creating wide panoramic compositions, HDRs, HDR Panoramas... But not just... Here you will find landscapes and cityscapes, ancient ruins and modern buildings, moons and seas, planes and boats, guns and flowers, animals and machines, forests and deserts, vanguard and prehistory, digital and film, color and black & white, graves and newborns, temples, trenches, palaces, castles, tanks, churches, bunkers... However, they have some things in common: they are meaningful images, I believe them all to be beautiful, and they are for the most part unique. Come in and judge for yourself. W. W. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY PICTURE TO YOUR PERSONAL LIKING AND MAKE IT...
