This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
A very early antique vintage map of Mississippi and Louisiana. This beautifully illustrated historical map from the public domain was created by German geographer and cartographer Johann Baptist Homann, published between 1707-1724. An inset of Niagara Falls can be seen at the top left of the map which also includes several other vignettes. The map also shows the State of Florida and Gulf of Mexico, the East Coast including New York and New England and parts of lower Canada. This reproduction map has been restored, converted to sepia tone and has hand blended textures.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
