This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

I am escorted north by true Circassian/Kabardian knight-Ibragim Yaganov-My most kind, gracious generous host and guide through his stunningly beautiful homeland of the north Caucasus mountains. On our way from Nalchik to Pyatigorsk to visit and ride feast and make merry fellowship with his exuberant, rough-riding Cossack friends, Ibragim stopped at a monument with this view of Elbrus and his ranch. His breathtaking ranch, where I had just spent 5 days camping on his horse ranch, is on the Inal steppe to the left of the snow fields. Two Great Blue herons flew before us-one for each of us, for me they are a blessing to see. Elbrus, 17,000 feet plus is "extravagant' upon the landscape, as Ibragim says. Many summer times were spent on the Nebraska family ranch. Her mother was a Creole from New Orleans, Louisiana, of original French and Portuguese,Spanish,Sephardi-Jew, early 1700's Colonial ancestry.
