Using as a wallet
"My instinct told me to go and hide" with the American Woodcock chick (juvenile), it is a souvenir photo of spring 2009 American Woodcock banding season, the bander is my friend, once all the chicks of the brood are banded they are released, not able to flight yet its instinct told him to go and hide in the vegetation. Once the bander and his pointing dog are gone, Mommy woodcock and her chicks get together again by whistling. The woodcock chick it is after 3 weeks old that start to do little flights.
