A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
Imagine this duck looking up at you in person! This painting's exaggerated sense of perspective gives us a "person's-eye" view of this friendly creature. With just a suggestion of feathers, the artist uses the rounded form of the duck to fill the canvas, while dynamic angling of the tail and careful placement of the head and beak make the overall composition surprisingly rhythmic. The bold use of color pits complementary oranges and blues, even with the use of a shimmering outline in these colors. The underpainting in earth tones adds a depth to the background, with the suggestion of leaves floating around the duck giving the painting its "electric" name.
About Scott Plaster
WATCH Video about NC Whimsical Artist Scott Plaster J. Scott Plaster grew up in Denton, North Carolina and was exposed to art at an early age. He still remembers how his father would draw Picaso-esque figures for his son to paint with basic student tempura paints on manilla drawing paper. When some kids were awaiting video games and toys from Santa Claus for Christmas, Plaster was eager to get paint, canvas, and pastels. Plaster was oil painting by the age of ten and found his inspiration in the works of Van Gogh, the French Impressionists, and other early modern artists. As a self-taught artist, Plaster began subscribing to The Artists' Magazine as a teenager and immersed himself in art history and technique books of a broad variety....
