Description

Traveling west just outside of Wimauma Florida I saw this old home that was falling apart and decided that I wanted to take photos of it! Old building like this have so many stories to tell. I am sure it was a farm house that was given to the kids at some point, and they did not want any part of farming. Left on its own the house is slowly falling into decay! I had to wait for the rain to end before getting out of the car to take my photos. Even then there was a lite sprinkle getting me and my camera wet! Love the dramatic skies overhead as the storm move into the distance, making this a photo worth getting wet for!!! A wonderful black and white photo for home or office! "Nobody's Home"

This is so beautiful in a wistfully dramatic sort of way. I love the choice of black and white rather than in color. I think the color would cheapen the strength of this capture. I wonder what this would look like in sepia tones? Bravo. Excellent work.
