The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

I remember sitting in a cafe on Market Street in San Francisco 30 years ago, with a photography book and a 20-year old Fujica camera wondering how I could make my living as a photojournalist. I'd just graduated college with a degree in International Studies and all I wanted to do was travel the world, take pictures and immerse myself in other cultures. Well, I never got there, instead finding myself in the corporate world. Now, as I start to emerge from that life and enter those "golden" years, I've taken up photography again, this time with a more mature confidence and a greater sense of myself, the world, and what I want to express. I enjoy waking up early and reveling in whatever the sunrise brings. I love photographing...
