Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Quite beautiful!
This is the kind of deer that are sometimes seen where I do my work.
Growing up in Europe, birthed within my heart a desire for artistic excellence. This came about while gazing upon originals from the Renaissance as a your boy. I still remember looking at the detail in those works and marveled. It somehow created a profound interest in art within. Throughout the creative years, as any artist would, I gained inspiration from the joys and the sorrows which came my way. Sorrow requires one to have to look deep within to find resolve which has been a character building experience for which I'm extremely grateful. And believe me, I had the best teachers possible. Like storms which make a tree stronger. These experiences are reminders that I must continue to humble myself in order to overcome the human tendency...

Thanks Dianne and Iris. I really put a lot into this work. I created it all from my own photography work. That deer (the head) is one my friend shot here where I live. I made the work in layers (building forward) and the last layer was the wild flowers and hundreds of stems. To shoot this layer I had to put a white sheet behind the flowers and then do a Magic Wand Masking Tool to copy all the intricate stems and flowers to drop into the foreground. It's funny cause often I am told it's just "cut and paste". My answer usually is, "So why can't you do something like that?" Lol.
