This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

"M[arcus] Agrippa L[ucii] f[ilius] co[n]s[ul] tertium fecit," meaning "Marcus Agrippa, son of Lucius, made [this building] when consul for the third time." Modesty was not one of his strong suits. This is of course the famed pediment of the Pantheon in Rome, Italy, formerly a Roman temple and now a church. It is one of the best-preserved of all Ancient Roman buildings, in large part because it has been in continuous use throughout its history. Once you’ve seen it in Rome, you will start seeing it all over since many government and public buildings, city halls, universities, and public libraries echo its design.
