It’s okay. As a yoga mat, it’s not exactly nonslip.

I did not recieve this yoga mat that I orderd.
This is the sixth painting of the Parry Sound Group of Painters. We were still set up on the dock of our hists. Inspiration was everywhere and in every direction. In fact, most of the paintings that I would demo and complete during the following three days, would be from this dock.
This view from the dock is toward the north. The flagged pines, islands and reflections in the water were all that we needed to make a composition. We were sheltered from the blustery west winds that was scudding the turbulent stratocumulus clouds along in a hurry. I wanted to illustrate how to paint clouds - both from an negative and a positive approach. It was another beauty of a autumn day.
I paint outside - nothing between my eyes and the inspiration. That special connectivity gets into the pigments and you quickly realize that we are all stewards of the land, privileged to appreciate its beauty during our lifetime but responsible for leaving the environment better off for the future and all inhabitants... Phil was born and raised along the St. Lawrence of Ontario, Canada and studied at Queens University as a nuclear physicist. A meteorologist for Environment Canada for 35 years, Phil specializes in severe weather and training. Remote sensing is his forte - you might want to see a tornado before you die... but not just before you die! He has farmed, raised bees, written books and articles, lectured and instructed...

The sky is swimming with dolphins Phil! Just lovely energetic bold brushwork and cool colors!
Phil Chadwick replied:
Thank you Susan... you saw the "fish" shapes in the sky. They were somewhat intended but they were also somewhat in the clouds to start with.
