Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
This image brings past and present together. Old vintage, rustic and breaking down fencing outlining an old homestead from the 1800s, meets with concrete street, telephone poles and electricity. Bringing the elements together to remind us how far we have come, and the history that is behind us. The fencing goes for several miles creating boundaries around old farmland, broken down buildings, shantys and what was small cabin type homes along this beautiful terrain filled with Pine Trees, creeks and small rivers. You can almost hear the settlers as they came upon this land, claiming, "God's Country". A beautiful place in the wilderness that was called home for many, especially along the railroad.
Bobbee, a Nevada Artist-Photographer-Calligrapher, known as The Kreative Kid, came from a creative family. Her Father, an artist who could draw portraits and sketches at 5 years old. A grandmother and mother who were always creating crafts or wonderful projects of some sort. She earned a Distinguished Young Artist Award at age 10 and has always played in the realm of creativity in many forms. At age 6 her Father sat her at the table with a well of ink, and a Calligraphy Pen and encouraged her to learn the beautiful art of lettering. Always surrounded by the world of art, from painting, to drawing, to photography, writing. Photography combined with Digital Art, Graphic Design is her recent passion. And then add her inspirational messages...
