I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.
This painting was created from my photograph of a favorite oasis in the Boyce Thompson Arboretum near Globe, Arizona. The desert scenery in the gardens there is spectacular. All varieties of cacti are located along various walking paths where you will find benches here and there for your resting and viewing pleasures. This spot has a great view of Picket Post Mountain in the background and a multitude of flowering plants all around this very dark tree. The contrast of the black trunk against the sunny spots that just glow is a truly beautiful sight. Here you can see several species of agave plants as you see in the foreground. Yucca plants and a few saguaro cacti are scattered around the area along with golden barrel, fish hook barrel, Santa Rita prickly pear and pin cushion cactus. This is also a wonderful place to do a little bird-watching as you will never be disappointed with so many different hummingbirds to entertain you.
