This is illustration 6 for a children's picture book called Pooka Hill illustrated by Hanne Lore Koehler published by Tutkam Books. Pooka Hill is the Newfoundland version of the story of the mischievous Irish fairytale character, the Pooka, a shape-shifter who can transform himself into many different animals. Appearing here as an eagle, the Pooka has just dropped off a Newfoundlander at the moon and disappears into the eagle Nebula.
