Very pleased. I like the deep purple with this image. But, the edge could have been a little sharper.

Almost perfect. Other companies, have the requested picture on both sides of the coffee mug, not just one. Other than that - Perfect. Thank you.

The same. Having a picture on both sides of the mug would be better. Even at a small additional charge. Thank You.

This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
Macro panoramic shot of a Common Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina) as it attempted to escape a flooded creek to cross the road. I got down to its level to capture this portrait, but I decided to broaden the shot to capture the scaly legs and formidable claws.

I prefer to capture the spontaneity of things and events as they are occurring, and rarely photograph staged subjects other than portraits. Gary Holmes, photographer: I have always loved to photograph nature, landscapes, abstract, and other found objects of interest. I prefer the challenge of trying to capture the unpredictable spontaneity of things and events as they are occurring. I started with a Kodak Brownie as a child, but entered the world of real photography with a Canon AE-1 in the late 1970's. I have successfully sold a number of my photographs on Fine Art America, and have been recognized in international photography venues. Poster sized prints of three of my photographs were recently installed in a new medical clinic building in a major Texas medical center. My photo, "Blue Norther," was selected by the nonprofit Texas Bluebird Society for its 2010...

OK, something I am hoping to see a lot of this fall! Heading to the Galapagos to photograph these (and other) critters!!! Your photo of perfection just made me want to leave NOW! :) v/f
Gary Holmes replied:
Angela, I am really jealous. Fortunately, the Galapagos tortoises are apparently not nearly as aggressive as this snapping turtle. I look forward to seeing your photos.

nice. it appears that the poor guy has busted his nails on the starboard side. i once heard that every pond in the midwest and south is bound to have one, so they're not TOO dangerous. you got low for the shot: well done!

Awesome capture and angle! Hope you weren't too close. They are quite dangerous! voted!
