First ancestor of the Ouellet-te's of America who arrived in Canada in the middle of the 17th Century at Ile d'Orleans, Quebec, Canada.
Lise Piche is a self-taught Canadian artist. She has skills in pencil portraits, gouache, watercolor and ink mediums. Lise especially loves to draw people and old buildings with character pertaining to history done mostly from her photographs. What got her started in Art was the COMMERCIAL ART, ILLUSTRATION and DESIGN COURSE she took with the Famous Artists School in Westport, Connecticut. My art is very special for me, it gives me a sense of self, wholeness and accomplishment. It brings meaning to my life and I try to share it with others as much as I can. Enjoy.
