Pulpi geode, Almeria, Spain. Inside of the Pulpi geode, the largest geode ever discovered. Geodes are rocks that are hollow in the centre. The interior is often lined with crystals. These crystals are formed from gypsum and measure around 0.5 metres in length. The geode itself is cigar-shaped and measures 8 metres long by 1.8 metres wide. It was discovered in 1999.
