The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.

This painting was begun en plein air until the rain began to pour. The downpour caused the pastel to run. I took it home and when it dried I worked on it in the studio. It definitely shows the rainy day it was conceived in.
About Linda Preece
Linda Preece’s interest in art came as a child after receiving a Jon Gnagy artist set for Christmas. That gift sparked her interest in art and she created her first oil painting. In high school she took art classes and joined the Art Club. After graduating from nursing school she took oil painting classes with a local artist named Linnie Ayles. After Linnie moved away Linda began painting with pastels. It wasn't long before pastel became one of her favorite mediums. Linda’s first time painting outdoors was in 2008 with the Michigan Plein Air Painters.
