This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
I painted this whimsical little painting one very rainy weekend this summer at Nutimik Lake in the Whiteshell. This season many of our camping experiences included periods of intense rain storms. Inbetween these storms we were blessed with short bursts of sunshine. The effect of the sun sparkling through the rain drops caused intense explosions of color on the leaves in the forest. This was the view after one of those cloud bursts. The ground around our travel trailer became a small pond for a few hours, holding us captives to this beautiful magical paradise.

I gather inspiration from the diverse beauty that Canada offers by getting out on the Trans Canada Trail and hiking through the many grasslands and forests and kayaking the crystal clear lakes.
