Very pleased. I like the deep purple with this image. But, the edge could have been a little sharper.

Almost perfect. Other companies, have the requested picture on both sides of the coffee mug, not just one. Other than that - Perfect. Thank you.

The same. Having a picture on both sides of the mug would be better. Even at a small additional charge. Thank You.

This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
This was done for an online art challenge " statues to life ", in which artworks had to be derived from a series of statue photos on the site. This was based on a photograph of a pair of blackened and weathered stone figures on a memorial headstone. The general idea was used and the statue figures were adapted to live figures set in an imaginary setting.
Reside in New Zealand, started painting in acrylic several years ago. Started doing a few landscapes but ended up moving towards wildlife and did a few aircraft paintings. More recently started doing portraits as something different and it seemed to take hold, as now quite a few. The portrait painting led to doing more drawing mostly as studies intended to be painted, but the drawings ended up as finished pieces on their own.

Brilliant work!
Duncan Sawyer replied:
Thanks Andrew, this was going to be sisters or mother and daughter but couldn't decide which, so just let things develop and leave the viewer decide upon their interpretation.
Elisabeth Lucas
Very sweet! Lf
Duncan Sawyer replied:
Thanks Elizabeth, this was done without a fixed idea of how it should be, rather let it evolve in a way that seemed right at the time.
Heather King
My gosh Duncan this is so incredibly beautiful and deeply enchanting ♥ L/F/Tw
Duncan Sawyer replied:
Thanks Heather, this was derived from a photograph of a blackened and weathered graveyard monument. Just the basic idea of the poses was used setting is imaginary and the figures made live rather than stone, as this was done for a statues to life art challenge.

Thanks Karunita for the favorite.
