This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!
Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung means “the Place of the Long Rapids” in Ojibwe, but it’s best known in English as the Manitou Mounds, a National Historic Site of Canada boasting the largest concentration of ancient burial mounds and village sites in Canada, ranging in age from roughly 2,500 years to more than 7,000 years old.
This wild red columbine was found along the nature trail to the mounds in early June. This image is available as print on demand at Fine art America.
