I collect travel stamps for a hobby, but when I visited the Noah Webster House in West Hartford Connecticut there was no travel stamp available for my collection booklet so I came across this sticker on your fine website and it is now in my travel stamp booklet under my Noah Webster House visit. It was put to good and joyful use Thank You

Artist's Description

The Red Crossbill is normally found in flocks located in our coniferous forests but this guy must have got separated from his buddies and showed up in my plum tree where a group of warblers were feeding. Normally the Crossbills feed on cones by prying open the cones to release there seeds but this guy was feeding like the warblers on aphids located on the leaves.

His photos have been featured on the cover of Bee Culture Magazine, in Range Magazine, and the 2010 book Capture Central Oregon. He recently had a showing at Smith Rock State Park. He has also shown at the Redmond Library,...
