I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

I thought the colors could have been a little brighter but I was happy with the product!
The Liquidambar tree is the "Maple of the South," or so I think of it. It is actually an American gum tree, related to eucalyptus trees. We planted our trees in about 1987, so they are fully developed. All summer, they have thousands of green leaves which turn all shades of gold and red for an unbeatable fall display, where maple trees do not grow successfully. These branches and leaves were shot early in the morning, after an unusual night rain, before everything had dried out. I love pressing the leaves for fall decorations!
I have been taking pictures since I was young. I love the outdoors and enjoy taking landscape and botanical photos. With my lifelong interest in and study of interior design and architecture, I greatly enjoy taking pictures of buildings, interiors, and art. I have pursued my love of art and creation by making collages with many different themes. I am also interested in the Aboriginal arts of Australia, Pointillism, Dot Art, and watercolors. I have included some of my work in various Collections. I am a retired teacher, play golf, travel, camp, make jewelry, read, paint, make collages, and sew. Thank you for viewing my galleries.
