The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

This old mill and covered bridge are near Waupaca, WI.
The Waupaca River and the Crystal River are running through
the city. They are part of the Chain of Lakes area in Wisconsin.
The old red mill was no longer in use as a working mill, however,
it had been turned into a gift shop when we were there..
We were able to walk to the covered bridge and watch the canoes
coming down the river.
The scenery there was very appealing for a watercolor study.
I decided to include my three sons fishing from the old cement
platform at the back of the mill.
Their black dog, Ruffles, had to be part of the scene as well!
Of course, these boys are much older than this painting would
indicate but they did enjoy moments like that when they were young.
