A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
A red letter day is a special day, a day worth remembering.
The term goes back to antiquity, but in more recent history, people may remember the holidays singled out in red on their wall calendars. The bright color stood out from the black and white of ordinary days, and one’s eye was drawn to that colorful highlight.
In the artwork, Red Sail Day, it is a red letter day indeed, with the added bonus of the sails on the vessel being red as well. On the bay, close to the shore, a group of friends spends the day sailing. It is the perfect combination of sun and clouds, cool and warm, with a brisk breeze ensuring that the vessel will glide gracefully through its watery element, its sails snapping and billowing.
The captain of the sailboat is confident, moving about the boat with an easy grace. His passengers relax in his hands, and it is a grand thing to feel the movement – the gliding forward, the slight tipping to the side, the gentle bounce as the craft hits the...
About Steve Henderson
I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art. I celebrate images that invite the viewer to step into the artwork and experience a sense of joy, peace, freedom, encouragement, meditation, and thought. There's a lot of angry art out there, as well as a lot of shallow pop. I choose to use the abilities and experience I have to promote beauty and goodness.
