I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.

I grew up on an Iowa farm and moved to the city to pursue an IT career, only then it was called Data Processing. I can still remember taking a third grade class picture with my dad’s box camera; it took 120 film. Digital photography has allowed me to take advantage of my career and the passion for capturing a moment. While it takes great talent to paint or sketch a picture, I have always been a fan of photography. Photography has allowed me to see my great great grandfather, my dad in uniform with his unit in WWII, etc. Photography has also taken me to all the continents of the world, to the highest and lowest places on Earth and even below the seas. What a shame there isn’t a photo of the Parthenon after its completion. A...

Nice capture Edward. I think one could spend the day birding using just birds landing on the high line wires. I looked up Red-tailed Hawk and had a note that some, but not all migrate away from the breeding ground, and that they winter in the central USA. This past fall we were in the Texas valley (southern most tip) and they had a park that was noted for the migrating hawks. My plan is to "one day" learn the hawks. Recognize them in flight sort of thing. Some fly with a "flap and glide", some glide around on the wind, and some fly in between trees at the edge of the woods chasing songbirds. I would have to start over in my study cause now I have forgotten which does what. LOL
Ed Peterson replied:
We seem to have a lot of hawks this year. What I like is watching the song birds go after the hawks. A lot of neat flying.
