This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

"Reflections in the Glades"
by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan
....Big puffy cumulus clouds
drift lazily in the blue skies
over the Everglades
on a lovely mid-September morning.
A light breeze ruffles the shallow water,
reflecting the clouds
and blue of the sky overhead.
A tall pine tree has tumbled down
in a storm, reaching out
to the marsh grasses
that dress up this pretty glade.
This is the Grassy Waters Preserve
in western Palm Beach County,
at the upper part
of the Everglades.
The fresh water is home
to so much wildlife
including deer,
alligators, turtles,
osprey, cranes,
fox, and the elusive
Snail Kite bird
which is taking up residence
in this beautiful
natural park...
