I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

Rods (tan) are long nerve cells which respond to dim light, allowing the detection of images. Cones (teal) are shorter cells which detect color. Together, rods and cones pass visual signals through the optic nerve to the brain. Magnification unknown.
